Amazon partners with Einride for electric trucks

Amazon is integrating 75 of Einride's electric heavy-duty trucks into its Relay freight network, marking a significant step in the e-commerce giant's decarbonization efforts. Einride will own and operate the trucks, utilizing its Saga AI software for management, and will also establish charging infrastructure at five U.S. locations. This collaboration validates Einride's technology and strategic vision, accelerating its growth and operational expertise within a major logistics network. The deal supports Amazon's goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2040, specifically addressing the challenge of electrifying heavy-duty trucking.
