Anthropic's Claude AI gains computer control

Anthropic has enhanced its Claude AI with autonomous computer control capabilities through its Code and Cowork tools. This new feature allows Claude to perform tasks like opening files, browsing the web, and running development tools without user intervention, even when the user is away. Initially available as a research preview for Claude Pro and Max subscribers, the functionality is currently limited to macOS. This advancement builds upon the autonomous features introduced with the Claude 3.5 Sonnet AI model, extending them to the chatbot's core functionalities.
