Enterprises face critical AI agent security gaps

A recent VentureBeat survey reveals that most enterprises are ill-equipped to handle advanced AI agent threats, with a significant security gap in monitoring and enforcement. Despite 82% of executives believing their policies are adequate, 88% reported AI agent security incidents in the past year, highlighting a disconnect between perceived and actual security. The survey indicates that many organizations remain stuck in the 'observe' stage of AI security, lacking the necessary isolation and enforcement mechanisms to prevent breaches. This vulnerability is exacerbated by the rapid speed of AI-driven threats, which often outpace traditional security monitoring capabilities, leaving organizations exposed to significant risks.
