Mercedes launches first all-electric C-Class
The Verge·
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its first all-electric C-Class sedan, the C 400 4MATIC, featuring an 800-volt architecture for enhanced efficiency and extended range. This new model boasts an impressive estimated WLTP range of up to 762 kilometers (473 miles), positioning it for long-distance travel. Mercedes highlights the vehicle as its sportiest C-Class yet, while also promising a smooth ride comparable to the S-Class. This marks a significant step for the C-Class nameplate, which previously only offered internal combustion, mild-hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
