Microsoft Edge Copilot AI Summarizes Open Tabs

Microsoft Edge is enhancing its Copilot AI chatbot with a new feature that enables it to access and process information from all open browser tabs. Users can now ask Copilot to summarize articles, compare products, or answer questions based on the content across their various tabs. This update aims to streamline research and information gathering by leveraging AI to synthesize data from multiple sources simultaneously. Microsoft is also retiring the previous Copilot Mode, integrating its functionalities into this more versatile tab-aware AI assistant, offering users greater control over which browsing experiences the AI can interact with.
