Microsoft ends Surface Hub production, cancels future models

Microsoft is reportedly ceasing production of its Surface Hub 3 collaborative display and abandoning plans for a Surface Hub 4. Launched in 2015, the large-format digital whiteboard with an integrated PC was available in 50-inch and 85-inch sizes, with initial prices of $8,000 and $20,000 respectively. The decision comes after the product line outlasted former Surface lead Panos Panay and other Surface hardware like the Surface Studio and Surface Duo. This move signifies a strategic shift for Microsoft's hardware division, potentially refocusing resources on other product lines.
