Regulators close Tesla Summon feature probe

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has concluded its investigation into Tesla's "Actually Smart Summon" feature. The agency determined that only a small percentage of reported cases involved incidents, and crucially, none of these incidents resulted in any injuries. Tesla has also proactively implemented several software updates to enhance the feature's performance and safety. This closure signifies regulatory approval, at least for now, of the feature's current state and Tesla's responsiveness to potential issues.
