Ripple Invests in Flutterwave, Backs RLUSD Integration

Ripple has invested in Flutterwave's Series E funding round, valuing the African payments company at $3.2 billion. This strategic partnership will see Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin and XRP Ledger integrated into Flutterwave's payment infrastructure across 34 African markets. Flutterwave plans to leverage this investment and collaboration to scale its stablecoin-enabled payment solutions, accelerating its strategy to embed digital asset settlement and remittance capabilities into its core services. The company, a prominent player in African payments technology, has raised over $500 million to date.
