Robots shatter human records in Beijing half-marathon

Humanoid robots achieved remarkable speeds at a recent Beijing half-marathon, with the winning autonomous robot completing the course in 50 minutes and 26 seconds. This time significantly surpasses the current human world record. While direct comparisons are debated, the performance marks a substantial leap from last year's event, where the fastest robot finished in over two and a half hours. The winning robot was developed by Chinese smartphone maker Honor, showcasing advancements in autonomous navigation and endurance for robotic systems in competitive physical challenges.
