Trump renovation leads to algae bloom
Wired·
A recent renovation project has inadvertently contributed to a significant algae bloom in the Reflecting Pool. Warm weather conditions have exacerbated the problem, leading National Park Service workers to employ various methods, including hydrogen peroxide and nanobubbles, in an attempt to eradicate the algae. This cleanup effort is being undertaken ahead of upcoming July 4th celebrations, aiming to restore the pool's appearance for public viewing.
