Ethereum Foundation funds crypto security audits
The Block·
The Ethereum Foundation has launched a $1 million security subsidy program to make smart contract audits more accessible for developers. Partnering with digital asset advisory firm Areta, the initiative will provide access to over 20 professional audit firms. Chainlink and Nethermind will assist in selecting monthly cohorts of projects. This program aims to significantly strengthen the security of the Ethereum ecosystem by covering up to 30% of audit costs for selected participants, addressing the high expense typically associated with these crucial security assessments.
