Nintendo is significantly reducing its production forecast for the Switch 2 console, planning to manufacture four million units this quarter instead of the previously projected six million. This decision stems from weaker-than-expected console sales, particularly in the US market, as acknowledged by Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa. The production cutback is anticipated to extend into April, signaling a notable slowdown following the console's strong initial launch.
